Well, I’m so happy to say that the spinal cord stimulation trial WORKED! After recovering from the pain of the procedure I saw a reduction of at least 80% of my chronic pain. I was completely blown away. So now, we move forward with the surgery to fully implant the system. On November 15th I’ll officially be a cyborg – for real! 🙂
Then, two weeks later, at my post operative checkup, the stimulation therapy will be turned on and I will be mostly pain free thereafter.
I can imagine all sorts of activity now – mainly just being able to get out and walk – I’m so out of shape its awful.
